History of Robert G. Carroll and Associates.
In 1980, Bob Carroll joined the independent agency of Thad Farmer & Co. with a specific task of writing insurance for jewelry businesses in Oklahoma. He set about learning security from experts in the safe and alarm industries, and the jewelry industry from jewelry professionals in the Oklahoma Jewelers Association in which he became very active and eventually a Director.
On June 1, 1986, Bob established Robert G. Carroll and Associates, continuing an already successful relationship with Jewelers Mutual. Thad Farmer will be forever remembered by Bob as his friend and mentor.
 About Bob Carroll
A graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Sociology, minor in Psychology; and then a professional YMCA Director – Program Director in Midland, TX, and a Branch Executive in Phoenix, AZ.
1974-1980, a Life and Health insurance professional with New England Life Insurance Co. and INA Life, Oklahoma City, OK, during which time he met Thad Farmer, joining him in business in 1980.
1980-1986, producing agent for Thad Farmer and Co. with specific focus on the Jewelry Industry in Oklahoma.
1986 - present, Owner of Robert G. Carroll and Associates. In 1998 the agency focus expanded to included the State of Arkansas; recent growth since then have brought in jewelers in Northern Mississippi and Western Tennessee.
* A Certified Insurance Counselor since 1974.
* A Director of the Oklahoma Jewelers Association.
* A Director of the Arkansas Jewelers Association.
* President's Award of Jewelers Mutual Insurance Co., 1995 and 2000.
* Longest-serving member of the Oklahoma Alarm Licensing Committee
(since the inception of the Alarm Licensing Law in Oklahoma, 1986).
* Traveler of the Year, Arkansas Jewelers Association, 2000 and 2003.
* G.O.L.D. Award for special service to the jewelry industry, B. C. Clark
Jewelers, 2004.
* Columnist for the jewelry industry on topics of security and Insurance,
Southern Jewelry News, Mid America Jewelry News: "The Best Policy"
